Ultra HD TV's
have almost increased the resolution of the screens to four times to what you would have found written on the specification sheet had you bought a television just a year ago. The increase is said to be somewhere around 4 times what it was, and manufactures are calling their products several names, one of which is Ultra HD TV's
.
If you love watching films, or looking for the most cinematic picture possible, there are good chances that you will love these products. Audio and video enthusiasts agree that plasmas have a significant edge over LCDs in terms of overall picture quality and delivering a more film-like experience. Plasmas use an emissive display technology and color phosphors, these displays make better use of the lighting source and as a result display much richer colors and have lesser display related inconsistencies of the past technology. In addition to finer and deeper details, these Ultra HD TV's
are also capable of producing more consistent levels of black and better picture details.
That is fine and as far as the technical specifications are concerned, these Ultra HD TV's
display nothing more exceptional than what is available from the existing array of high definition TVs today. Arguably, these new devices are not yet ready for prime time consumption because most home television service providers don’t provide high quality feed for homes. The only way you can truly enjoy the quality of 4K screens is by watching it in action in movie theatres where they have a better control over the source.
Apart from that these Ultra HD TV's
are awesomely power efficient and look very nice when placed in a room or hung on a wall. Networkability and computing power are also huge selling points of the Ultra HD TV's
. As the craze for ultra high definition TVs increase, we will see more manufacturers participating in the race vying for the top spot.
